CalETC supports the Governor’s proposal to include $200 million in rebates for an “on the hood” tax credit for light-duty EVs.
Rebates and other incentives help real people make the switch to cleaner vehicles and we need to keep building on this progress.
In addition to the $200 million proposal, CalETC urges the state to also provide sustained investment in medium- and heavy-duty trucks, fleets, and the infrastructure that supports them.
That’s where some of the biggest emissions reductions and air-quality benefits will be achieved.
We appreciate the leadership from Sacramento, and we look forward fully funding more of California’s successful ZEV programs.
